Alphalink
introduces its new high performance, low operation
cost polishing machines, the CHAMP 800X and its
portable counterpart, the CHAMP 400X.
The CHAMP 800X/400X is a new innovation in optical
polishing, with a streamlined design for ease
of operation and long and reliable performance.
Our polishing machines polish specimens with the
patent-pending hypocycloid trace motion, a superior
polishing pattern that produces optimal polishing
conditions by polishing optical connectors and
specimens from all directions, thus polishing
evenly and producing geometrically accurate results.
Thus the CHAMP 800X/400X easily and effectively
executes the robust polishing process required
to control apex offset and dome radius.
The
machine’s innovative fixture holder design,
flat polishing styles such asthose of MTRJ or
MT connectors can be accommodated with high production
output. Designed for versatility, the CHAMP 800X/400X
can achieve a full range of connector and ferrule
polishing styles: Flat, Angle, UPC and APC. In
additon, the machine also accommodates a wide
variety of ferrule material such as Zirconia,
Glass, Plastic, Epoxy, and Silicon. Exact polishing
results can be specified with the CHAMP 800X’s
timer and polishing directional control.
The
CHAMP 800X/400X was also designed to reduce operation
costs. With more than 90% coverage of the polishing
film, polishing consumable costs are greatly reduced.
The easy to clean polishing fixture means a scratch-free
end face. Thus, products produced are assured
a lower than –55dB back reflection. The
CHAMP 800X/400X also features easy secondary operation
application, such as ultrasonic cleaning and coating.
The
CHAMP 400X is a notebook-sized fiber optics connector
polisher with the same polishing performance as
the CHAMP 800S. With the CHAMP 400X, fiber optics
users and technicians can utilize factory precision
termination and polishing in the field. Its easy
portability and compact size allows polishing
or retro-polishing to be executed directly at
the equipment frame. It is ideal for field operation
or R&D lab applications for timely termination
and precision retro-polishing.
